This is another one of those pages that I'm sure I made much too difficult for myself--I know I wanted the big impact of "And everyone was there waiting for him!" But did I really have to draw all the Lodgers? All of them?? Not to mention that, for the remainder of this scene, I'll be dealing with the consequences of having Hyde trash Jekyll's office at the end of Chapter 15. 

Last week was again full of ups-and-downs. On Monday, I found out that I had been approved to start consultations for top surgery only to discover a potentially alarming health concern--the full extent of which is still unfolding--on Friday. I started putting out feelers for adopting out the cats I've been fostering, which has made me ping-pong wildly between heartbreak over the thought of losing them and depression at the thought of not losing them. And the owners of the apartment complex next door spent the entire week chopping down many of the lovely old trees that made up most of the view outside my window. I sure hope next week is a little less intense!
