Lanyon is a practical guy. He also may or may not have been looking for the first possible excuse to push that weird Mr. Hyde guy out of Jekyll's life. Lanyon has met Mr. Hyde before--briefly--but his actual reasons for wanting to get rid of Hyde go deeper than that and, to be honest, he might not be able to articulate them well if he tried.
ANNOUNCEMENT!: After like two years, I've finally made a big update to the FAQ page! I've included a step-by-step tutorial for how I make this comic and two new sections for questions regarding the characters of TGS and non-TGS-related questions (mostly about art school and stuff). Hopefully this will answer some of the frequent questions I get on Tumblr that I sadly never get around to answering (sorry!) . . .
IRL issue: My houseplants are dying! I mean, my succulents are fine right now (likely due to living in southern California) but everything else is super dying and it's stressing me out! I am most stressed about my purple shamrock, which is so close to being dead and every time a new shoot pops up, it either shrivels away quickly or starts getting these weird marks as though they've been burned. I don't think it's a watering issue, and there's nothing obviously wrong with the roots, so I can't figure out what's happening. Does anyone know about plants??
