This part of Jekyll and Frankenstein's conversation touches on several subjects I think about a lot: Who gets left behind in the fight for progress? How do you balance idealism and practicality? Does a rising tide really raise all ships? It's not a major focus in this story mostly because I don't have enough experience in activist spaces to speak knowledgeably on these subjects, and without that, my main inspirations would be like, video essays and shower thoughts. I'd like to get involved more in the future, but that would require I spend less of my nights and weekends drawing and more time actually interacting with people.
