I've been so happy with the lively discussion regarding Frankenstein in this chapter. I'd been planning to delve deeper into her character since the beginning, but because of the slow nature of webcomic updates, it's taken nine years for it to actually come to fruition. After such a long time--much longer than Jekyll's had to deal with her in real time--I was actually quite worried that the main response would be, "Why are you trying to drum up sympathy for her now? She's such an asshole, stop trying to excuse her behavior!" Personally, I love moments when characters  previously portrayed as villains or cartoonish jerks open up and reveal their humanity to us. That's what I'm aiming for in this scene, and I'm glad to see so many people engaging with her!
