I heard some readers were concerned after my post last week--a few people even put a lovely card together for me, which is so sweet! It is genuinely touching that I have readers who look out for me like that, and I do not in any way take that care for granted. However, I want to assure you that last week, I was doing okay! I was recounting a bad thing that happened half a year ago, I'd processed it, I was actually doing a bit better than usual.

This week, however? This was Hell Week. The last three days in particular just kicked my ass, job-wise, in so many ways.  (I'm being purposely vague because it's an ongoing situation.) A lot of it's out of my hands, but I hope I'm able to fix the small amount that I can fix. And that it makes a difference! Because it might not! Also I really hope the construction next door stops soon because it was jackhammer central here all week. Send thoughts and prayers! Please!
