I'm such a sucker for these kinds of scenes, where we're transported away from the heat and the action of Act III into some quiet moment where the characters can hash out their issues. I'm sure it's super common?? You kind of need quiet moments in Act III or else the action becomes muted by its own homogeneity, but for some reason the only ones I can think of right now are like, the Season 3 finale of Star vs. the Forces of Evil and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Oh, wait--the Gravity Falls finale had one, too! I'm sure Owl House did as well. Marvel movies, probably . . . ?
I just like it when characters have little heart-to-hearts. Left to my own devices, that might be the only thing I write?? Maybe I should have been a playwright. All the action setpieces and worldbuilding and big bombastic moments I write are just a way to trick people into reading my little quiet moments of characters sitting around talking. Maybe they're drinking tea or something.
