Most of this comic has been building to the last panel of this page. I'm probably forgetting 10+ examples, but I'm not sure I've seen a version of Jekyll and Hyde where Hyde is doing his bullshit and Jekyll is just like "lol no thx :) ". Jekyll's ability to walk away from Hyde--at least temporarily--is one of the most important aspects of his I characterize him. Like an adult who's been living with mental illness for most of his life, there are days when the illness is overwhelming, and there are other days when the repetitive thoughts, the spiraling, the predictably self-defeating patterns of behavior . . . are just eyeroll-inducing.
