A question from a reader: How did fake!Lanyon manage to chain Hyde to that bookcase? He didn't! Fake!Lanyon might be able to restrain Hyde on his own, but he would never sully his hands with anything as crass as physical violence. His little ghosty friends did the job for him. If each of them grabs a limb, it'll be pretty tough for Hyde to break free. Real world physics don't really apply in the subconscious. Hyde in real life is pretty strong, but here everything is kind of floaty--hence why he could casually drift down the spiral staircase earlier. He could try to fight back or run away, but he wouldn't have an easy time with it. You know those dreams where you're trying to run, but it feels like you're going in slow motion? It's like that.
