Hey! It's literally New Year's Day! Why am I posting today?! Why am I so married to my update schedule that I can't skip a week, even though all my readers are probably hungover from New Year's Eve celebrations! Or groggy from comforting their stressed-out New-Year's-Eve-celebration-hating pets! 

Welcome to 2024! The Glass Scientists will be nine years old this year! Isn't that just horrible? Just kidding, it is an honor to share this story with such a kind and enthusiastic readership for so many years. Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu! I wish you a refreshing and reinvigorating new year! 

NOTE: While the comic itself is not going on hiatus, I will take a two-week break on tallying up the STREET TEAM COMPETITION results -- in part because I forgot to transfer the graphics to my travel laptop. However, please feel free to continue making submissions, and I will count them all in the next tally on January 8th!
