The Volume 2 cover is finished (pending notes)! The deadline for draft 1 of Chapter 17 is due tomorrow for my writer's group! And hopefully this week I can finally catch up on the backlog of color work I have to do (so I can hire a new colorist to help me catch up on the backlog of color assistant work). Um. On days like today, I wonder if I will actually have any personality left over when the comic ends and I can no longer base my entire identity around, "That crazy guy who does a full-color serialized webcomic on top of a full-time animation job."
My main defense against that is, currently, a diary with colored ink and stickers. Stickers! The bar for fun is low these days, folks. If you know of any artists/creators who make cute sticker sheets, please link them to me.
The final count for the Glass Scientists: Volume I Street Team Competition is in! For the final week, I wanted to do something a little different--here, I've counted up the total number of submissions for the entire campaign. We ended up with nearly 1000 total! Wow! Thank you so much to everyone who participated!
For those curious, this week's tally also came out in Jekyll's favor, with Team Jekyll at 61% and Team Hyde at 39%. So it looks like Jekyll won out this time after all . . . but will he win out in the comic itself? Only time will tell . . .
