Q: Why should I pre-order?
Pre-ordering is the best way to support creators you love while receiving exclusive gifts! Pre-orders are incredibly important for authors like me. Nowadays, publishers can only afford to support and promote a few books per year--the equivalent of blockbusters in Hollywood--while leaving everyone else to fend for themselves. That's easy to do if you have a Youtube channel with millions of subscribers, but not so easy for the rest of us. If you've enjoyed this comic over the (oh Lord) last ten years, pre-ordering is the best way to support my work while also getting exclusive gifts!
Q: What pre-order gifts will I receive?

Q: How do I pre-order The Glass Scientists: Volume III?
1. Pre-order from any vendor of your choosing, including Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Bookshop.org, or your local independent bookstore.
2. Fill out the pre-order gift form before publication day, December 2nd. (The domestic pre-order gift form is not online yet—international readers, please click here!)
3. Wait for your book and gifts!
Q: Where should I pre-order The Glass Scientists: Volume III in order to be eligible for pre-order gifts?
You can pre-order from any vendor of your choosing, including Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Bookshop.org, or your local independent bookstore.
However, PLEASE NOTE that pre-order rewards are shipped separately from the book itself and will likely arrive a few weeks after. You must fill out the separate pre-order reward form in order to receive your gifts—see instructions below!
Q: What if I want a signed or personalized book??
US-based readers can ask for a signed book or personalized dedication if you order directly from Chevalier's Books (and support my local indie bookstore in the process!). Unfortunately, I cannot offer signed books to international readers this time around, but they will received a signed and personalized digital bookplate with their pre-order rewards!
Bonus: You can also order signed copies of The Glass Scientists: Volume I and The Glass Scientists: Volume II from Chevalier's!
Update: It looks like pre-orders may not yet be available through Chevalier's. I apologize for the inconvenience! I'm currently in contact with them to figure out if there's a possible workaround. If there is, I will send out a newsletter update to let you know! If not, you will be able to place pre-orders starting September 2nd.
Q: What if I already pre-ordered TGS: Volume III? Do I still get the rewards?
Yes, anyone who orders The Glass Scientists: Volume III at any time can claim their pre-order rewards. All you have to do is fill out the pre-order gift form before it closes on December 2nd!
Q: Who is eligible for pre-order gifts?
All readers who pre-order are eligible for pre-order gifts!
This time around, I will only be able to offer physical pre-order gifts to US-based readers (mostly due to shipping costs), but I will be able to offer digital versions of the rewards to my international readers, including signed and/or personalized digital bookplates (not as nifty as physical signed books, but if you want me to hand-write you a personal message or doodle, I can do that for you!)
Q: When will my pre-order gifts arrive?
Pre-order gifts arrive separately from the book itself and will likely begin arriving a couple weeks after you receive your book. We're changing up the system this time, so I don't know exactly what the timeline will look like right now, but you can always reach out to me (glitterygothic @ gmail . com) if you have any questions or concerns!
In the meantime, please keep an eye on your email! I may need to reach out to you to confirm your delivery address!
Q: What's included in Volume III?
Volume III collects Chapters 13-18 of The Glass Scientists and also includes an all-new bonus story, concept art, art tips, and more!
Q: I'm an international reader, and my Amazon order of The Glass Scientists has been indefinitely delayed! What should I do?
This is a strange problem that has been happening for a few people with Amazon! Many people have been able to fix the problem by either cancelling/refunding their order and then placing a new order, or ordering from a local bookstore instead!Cancelling and re-ordering The Glass Scientists on Amazon will NOT affect your eligibility for pre-order rewards! You do NOT have to re-submit your pre-order gift forms!
